In her work, she looks closely at subtle patterns of veneration and repeated floral motifs, exploring the abstruseness and intricate complexity of nature. She is drawn to nature’s inherent dialectics, the simultaneous presence of the known and unknown; orderly and mysterious features and qualities. In her pinprick work, she attempts to capture the inner pulsation of nature; ignored and repressed by the modern technological society.

Gayatri lives and works in Kalyani, West Bengal, India.
