“I had a great experience at Space118. This being my first time in Mumbai and Space118, it was a great location just north of Colaba. I enjoyed walking around the markets finding dyes, beads, fabrics and all sorts of materials to use in my work. The studio itself was also a nice space to call home for 2 months. The artists I met here were wonderful and took good care of me. The staff here was also very friendly and helpful. I’m very glad I took this opportunity as it was a great learning experience and an introduction to Mumbai.”

Amanda holds a BFA in Textile Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), USA. She has exhibited at Woods Gerry Gallery, (2015), Sol Koffler Gallery (2014), and at the RISD Apparel Design Runway Show (2013), all in Rhode Island, USA. She was the recipient of the Scholastic National Silver Key Award in 2010.
