“Had I written this a few days ago, I would’ve titled it, “The Break up” because leaving Space 118 felt like a bad breakup. I envied, I wailed, and then I consoled myself. It felt bittersweet: a very tender relationship was going to stop. All the goodness, all the juice would now come to an end. I didn’t want to let go. I wanted to dig my nails deeper into the mud, I wanted to glue myself to the magnanimous table that became my best friend. I wanted to spread myself like jam on toast all over the place. I wanted to be in the air and never leave. But now I feel extremely grateful for this experience. I know for a fact that I’m never truly going to leave this place, it’s become a part my being.”
