“My time at Space118 both nurtured me and challenged me in ways I’m sure have now altered the nature of my practice for some time to come. I became increasingly intrigued by the industrial area surrounding the studios; slums, factories and one of Mumbai’s largest dumping grounds. I began collecting rubbish, organizing and color-coding it in my studio, which was later installed back on the streets in various locations around the city. Documentation of this project (photos and video) will exhibit later this year in Melbourne, Australia”
