About the Artist
Kakoli did an Art Appreciation Course from National Museum, New Delhi (1989). She attained her Diploma in Commercial Art from Polytechnic, New Delhi (1990) while simultaneously learning painting from Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi. She has also did an India Art & Culture Course from National Museum, New Delhi (1993). She has participated in numerous solo shows at Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi (2012), India International Centre, New Delhi (2012), Galesburg Civic Art Centre, Chicago, USA (2009), Gallery Romain Roland, Delhi, India (2008) and many more. Kakoli was a part of the Herzliya Artists Residency, Israel (2013). She has over 10 years’ of experience in teaching Visual Art and Design across various school and is working as a consultant for a number of IB schools.
