“This was my second art residency program that I did at Space 118. My experience was that this is one of the great opportunities that I had to come to Mumbai and explore the different aspects of city lifestyle. It has given me a new wider view of thoughts to express in my canvas. The studio is very relevant for an artist to have freedom and to access Art Galleries, Museums and to know more about the art world. Thanks for giving me these possibilities!”

Sathya is a self-taught artist and an organic farmer based in Auroville. He received his SSC from Government High School, Auroville. His group shows include the Neelam Jani Visual Art Gallery (2015), Art Breeze Gallery (2015), Yatra Art Gallery (2014) and Pitago Art Gallery (2007), all in Auroville.
