Ritu’s artwork “Endless Desire” depicts that everyone has dreams and they are an endless process. The dreams in her paintings are about materialistic thoughts through which she developed the concept behind her works. Her artworks take a conceptual and a critical view of the contemporary life of a human being by which through which she is trying to develop forms that follow not only a logical criteria, but are also based on subjective associations and formal parallels, which incite the viewer to make new personal association. Ritu’s paintings are characterized by her surroundings and opinions.
Ritu did her BFA (2012) and MFA (2014) from Government Institute of Fine Arts, Indore. Ritu has been part of several exhibitions organized by Ministry of culture Madhya Pradesh at Pritamlal Dua Art Gallery (2016), Indore; Ahamdavad Ni Gufa, Ahmedabad (2015); multiple times at Art mall at Khajuraho (2012 – 2014); State Exhibition, Bhopal to name a few. Ritu has also be a resident at All India Artist Residency Program by International Creative Art Center (2015), Mumbai. She was also selected in the 55th National Exhibition of Art at Lalit Kala Academy, Rabindra Bhavan (2013) New Delhi, Vakankar State Award (2012) and Mira Kala Award ( 2014). Currently she is working with International Fine Art Academy, Indore.
