Artwork Description

‘If We Could Be Birds In Each Other’s Skies’ is a  video work by Shivanjani Lal. She says that this is a romantic work although she didn’t want it to be. She wanted it to be clinical like a science experiment, a hypothesis on distance and longing. She made it because she felt that she wanted everyone to know that wherever we are, we are ok because we sit under the same skies. We can be independent. We can fly separately but be held together under the same blue grey field. This film still show excerpts of the film.
