Born in 1982, artist Pooja Aggarwal attained her BA in Fine Art (Applied Art) from the College of Art, University of Delhi in 2004. She then completed her MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts, London in 2015. She has also trained in Painting at Escola d’Arts Plastique i Disseny, Barcelona and School of Visual Arts in New York. Her artworks have been exhibited extensively at venues which include Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur (2017), Lite-Haus Galerie, Berlin (2016), Penarth Studios, London (2015), SU Space, London (2015), Cookhouse Gallery, London (2015), Anchorage House, London (2014), Gallery Art Konsult, New Delhi (2014) and Alliance Francaise de Delhi, New Delhi (2012) amongst others. She founded her own Clothing Label in 2012 in an attempt to bridge the disconnect between art and deisgn. Her label (Pooja Aggarwal) specializes in print based textile products. The artist lives and works in Delhi.
