Minimal line narrates the pastel love life of an artist, symbolic representation of two figures – the Machi ( fish) and kodi ( bird) are two muses , the past and present, thinking about beauty and solitude.
About Artist
An architect by profession, Rohit attained his Bachelors in Architecture from CSI Institute of Technology (2013) and his M.Arch (Environmental Design) from Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU) this year. His interdisciplinary interventions include infusing elements of architecture, landscape design, illustration and fine art. He has held solo shows at Alliance Francaise, Hyderabad (2016) and at Kalash Gallery, Hyderabad (2017). His work was recently exhibited at the Irregular Art Fair in Studio Khirki, Delhi (2018). He is the recipient of the Birla White Yuvaratna Award, First Prize (2012) and the Pidilite Award for Excellence (2012). He currently works as an Assistant Professor at JNAFAU along with developing his art practice.
