The two works from the Lethe series deal with the idea of religious dissolution, both literally and metaphorically. The twin notions of water as void and immersion as reverent forgetfulness are very central to these works.
Mustafa read his Bachelor of Visual Art from M.S. University, Baroda. He has exhibited at the Faculty of Fine Art, Baroda in 2014 and 2015, and has participated in a group show at Chemould Prescott Gallery, Mumbai (2015), organized by Clark House Initiative. Mustafa works with digital, sculptural and print media using constructed and interactive forms, primarily to do with historic, cultural and linguistic evolution.
