This painting stands as a visual witness to the wants of women. In a society driven by patriarchy – it is the companionship between women that holds most importance. The essence of freedom comes from within; rather than extended from outside. This work shows two women in an imaginative situation, positioned together as being expressive through their body language. What really matters is freedom in a real sense – to conduct the self and display the term ‘democracy’.
