Sumedha’s works on paper are executed quickly and attempt to capture her daily experience and evanescent thoughts. Her diary explores the spirit, hope, will, and soul in the everyday life of the people of Mumbai.
Sumedha Sah received her B.Arch from the Manipal Institute of Technology and is currently studying at the Centre of Environmental Planning and Technology, Ahmedabad. She worked as a Junior Architect for the Auroville Design Consultants where she assisted with the extension of the Visitor’s Centre Exhibition Hall, the Cafeteria, the Library, and the Centre of Indian Studies at Auroville. She taught herself to paint in watercolours and ink and has had three solo exhibitions, one at CEPT University and two in New Delhi, all in 2013.
