Daisy’s this particular ‘Untitled’ work was done at a phase in time when the she often did the human face, features and portraiture. Watercolor as a medium always fascinated her because of the translucency that allows for a manipulative, layered narrative. The eyes are the focal point of these series of works which are often connotation of either silence or a dialogue through the gaze.
Daisy is currently pursuing her PG Diploma Course in Modern and Contemporary Indian Art and Curatorial Studies from Bhau Daji Lad Museum, Mumbai, Maharashtra (2017). She attained her BFA in Painting from Chitrakala Parishat College of Fine Arts, Bangalore, Karnataka.
