Bhaskar Bordoloi (b. 1996, Bongaigaon, Assam, India) is currently pursuing his MFA in Painting from Visva Bharati University, Kala Bhavan, Shantiniketan and completed his BFA in Painting from Amity University, Noida, 2020. 

He has participated in various group shows including at Canvas Art Group, Kerala (online group show), 2021, Foundation of Art and Culture, Bhopal, 2021,  Raza Foundation, Delhi , 2022, and Kala Bhavan, Delhi, 2022.

Bhaskar’s paintings portray an elusive world of mysticism and dystopia. His compositions are packed with elements of grotesque visuals and dark humour; often sexually explicit and visually violent; where his subjects’ religious outrage and socio-political predicaments are revealed through symbolic and metaphorical representation.

Bhaskar Bordoloi lives and works in Shantiniketan, West Bengal, India.
