ABOUT ANUPA MEHTA: Anupa is a published author, columnist and arts manager. She has published a book of short stories, ‘Unseasonal Rain’ (Estrade, 2014) and a novel, ‘The Waiting Room’ (Penguin, 2007) . Post a graduation in English Literature, Anupa studied Journalism and has been a writer and columnist with several publications. She has trained with the Jungian writer and world-renowned storyteller, Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estesand at Kathalaya. Anupa also has an interest in the healing arts and follows Sufi healing practices. Based on her writing experience and other training in counselling, Anupa has developed a storytelling workshop that involves audience participation offers a therapeutic experience.
WHAT WILL BE TAUGHT: In this workshop, participants will learn how to use Storytelling as a tool for personal transformation, using elements of transactional analysis, script writing, and creative expression. Participants will learn how to develop an original voice by writing or drawing their story, followed by the sharing of each individual’s story.
WHAT YOU NEED TO GET: Personal photographs and memorabilia, pens, colour pencils, paper, and a writing pad
