This monsoon visit our studio nestled in south of Bombay as our artist in residence, Prathap Modi shares his techniques and anecdotes from his journey of carving out expressions all over the world for over a decade.

Carve your expressions

Prathap Modi hails from Baroda and has been exploring various mediums and techniques around the art of print making for over a decade. With Printmaking as his forte, Pratap has traveled across the globe showcasing his works. Starting with KHOJ in Delhi to pursuing residencies in London, Scotland, Malaysia and Belgium; his huge body of unique works has carved a place for himself in the international art world.

The workshop will tackle the basic techniques of woodcut prints, handling of the tools and most importantly transferring your expressions on a piece of wood and carving out your thoughts.

On popular demand the workshop is scheduled for one day, Saturday 21st June 2014 from 10am to 6pm. Kindly confirm your registration
