Harman Taneja



Harman Taneja (b. 1994, New Delhi, India) has completed her Bachelors in Architecture from the University School Of Architecture and Planning, and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi in 2017.
Harman’s solo exhibitions include D49, Defence Colony, New Delhi, curated by Priyanshi Saxena (2022). She has participated in group shows at Irregulars Art Fair, New Delhi; Artizen Art Gallery, New Delhi; Art Buzz Studio, New Delhi; Pebeo Art Exhibit, London; The India Story, Kolkata (2019). Art for Change India; and Greenly Art Space, California (2021). KYNK KYNK, Bangalore (2022). She has been an artist in residence at Niv Art Gallery, New Delhi (2019); Round Them Oranges, Far Side Collective, Art Photobook (2021); Space Studio, Vadodara (2022). She has been part of several online publications such as the “Say No To Plastics” series, The Indian Curator (2020); “Roadscapes”- Rooted, Art for Change India (2021); House of Creativity, Online display of works; Apparao Gallery, Fruit series; Art Power You, Online platform (2021); Artsome, Online platform (2022).
Architecture has helped Harman widen her horizon of seeing well beyond the moulds of the structured societal life. During her time at Auroville, she found matter in material and discovered her romance with resin. Her practice is now centered around resin with multiple guest appearances by materials like water, wind, and even concrete. She aspires for curvilinearity and continues the pursuit through her practice.
Harman currently runs her own art studio in New Delhi, India.
