Job Description:
The internship will broadly cover administrative duties. Main tasks include:
– Assisting the Director and Program Manager in day-to-day activities
– Database management
– Calendar and event planning
– Cataloging the Space 118 library collection
– Facilitating workshops
– Social media

Qualifications: Minimum 12 +. Experience or knowledge about the art and cultural sector is preferred.

 

Skills:
– Excellent written & verbal communication
– Organizational and administrative skills
– Competence in using MS Word/ Excel/Powerpoint. Competence in Photoshop, Illustrator and CorelDraw is a plus.
– Ability to work in a team

Job Description:
The job description broadly includes project management, fundraising and overall project coordination and execution.

The following are specific duties of a program manager-

• Responsible for aspects of research, inviting and coordinating residencies, exhibitions, workshops, artist lectures, performances and other special events.

• Managing the day-to-day requirements of artists, closing formalities, Open Studio Days and inviting forthcoming artists for residencies. Liaise with artists and organizations represented in related programs.

• Cataloging and documentation of Space118 collection and looking into their sales.

• Creating invites, newsletters, managing databases, Writing press releases, reports for the media and cataloging purposes.

Qualifications ?Bachelor’s degree and 2- 3 years of work experience in programming or administrative positions preferably in the cultural sector.
