Haimee is an artist from Udaipur, Rajasthan. She completed her BVA in Painting from S.P University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujrat in 2019 and MVA in Graphic Arts (Printmaking) from the Faculty of Fine arts, Baroda in 2021. Her shift from a safe haven called home to places like hostels and rented homes initially shaped her works. She has displayed her works in the 20th Art Fair, Rajasthan Lalit Kala Academy, Jaipur, and is a recipient of the Kala Sakshi Memorial Trust Scholarship for the year 2018. She is currently living and working in Udaipur Rajasthan.

Haimee’s works are initiated with the incorporation of elements like intimate spaces and recreation of them on various surfaces and mediums. The eccentric elements constituting her work might appear common and repetitive but they come from surroundings stranded with her life and time. These spatial expressions carry with them the true essence of time as they depict nostalgia, persistence, and anxiety. Through exploring various materials she recreates the actual elements and spaces in her works. She believes space is not just a block of concrete or a construct, but it has time, feelings and experiences felt or passed by, which are represented composedly and sensitively. Space to which she has been referring has nuances, as in it has not only an architectural picture, rather it has testimonies to the state of mind, situations, circumstance, and existentialism. While it is personal, it also advocates for universal human sentimentality. Seldom she enjoys the language of metaphoric representations also.
