He has been a part of four group shows including : ‘Transformation of Ideas’ in 2016; Degree show in 2018; a preview show called ‘In Making’ in 2018; and ‘Terra-Incognita’, an online show in 2019. He is  also a recipient of Jeram Patel Award in the year 2018.

Madhurjya has been thinking about the pensive mind; its conditioned reactions. It gets difficult for a mind so occupied to navigate through the mundane life; In a time like this, the daily chores suffocate the mind. Where there is mind there is isolation, but we can totally ignore that and survive on our survival instincts. If we just survive and stop thinking, then we might successfully abolish alienation. Memory acts as a catalyst in this process and at times enhances the possibility of never breaking out of limbo.

He develops fictional narratives with varying timelines, in and around real-life incidents; with characters involved and their discourses either with the self or the other. These narratives behave like excerpts from an incident. The plots revolve around the characters majorly and manifest the character’s immediate responses to the happening and the happened. The characters and their locations are anonymous, as there is an effort of understanding an identity that resides in the mental realm.
