Ravi Morya



Ravi Morya (b. 1992, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India) completed his B.F.A from Raja Mansingh Tomar Music and Arts University, Madhya Pradesh in 2015.
Ravi’s solo shows include Kala Vithika, Gwalior (2016); Triveni Kala Sangam, Delhi (2017). His group shows include Kala Vithika, Gwalior (2013-14. He has been awarded various awards like the Young Artist Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture (2018); Prafulla Dahanukar State Award (2018); N.S. Bendre Award from Madhya Pradesh Government (2018); All-India Art competition, State Gallery of Art, Hyderabad (2019); CIMA Jury Award (2022).
Ravi works mostly by combining paper collages and acrylic colours. His works are an attempt to reconnect, rebuild and renew his relationship with his surroundings. His muted works are analogous to dusty and dull glass one in old buildings; the texture and lines taking their own form, being so still yet inspiring.
Ravi lives and works in New Delhi, India.
