Dakshayani Chippada (b.1998, Gajapathinagaram, Andhra Pradesh, India) received a BFA in Printmaking, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam (2019), and MFA in Printmaking, MSU, Baroda, Gujarat (2021).
She has participated in several group exhibitions including at, Anant Art Gallery, New Delhi (2024); 079 Stories, Ahmedabad (2024); The Curators Art Gallery, Pune (2023); Artbuzz Studios, New Delhi (2023); Vis-a-Vis Studio/Gallery, Kochi (2022) and Abir First Take, Bikaner House, New Delhi (2022) among others. She has been awarded the Tzoid Grant by Upadhyaya Foundation, Mumbai (2023); The Curators Art Grant by The Curators Art Gallery, Mumbai (2023) and the Notable Artist Award by Artbuzz Studios, New Delhi (2022). She was in residency at Next Step residency, 1shantiroad studio, Shergill Sundaram Arts Foundation, Bangalore (2022).
Dakshayani’s artistic practice is based on the journey of the recollections of her own memories, those remembered and forgotten. She works with reimagined environments, using spaces and objects to explore how memories shift over time, distort, and how often they are rebuilt.
Dakshayani lives and works in Baroda, Gujarat, India.

Project Overview:
Through her project, Dakshayani explored the materialisation of her memories of home, houses and spatial structures in her hometown and how she uses shapes and objects to build reimagined environments around her.
