"The Space118 Fine Arts Grant is a meaningful opportunity for artists who want to develop their practice with both material and intellectual support. Beyond the financial assistance, the grant creates a thoughtful environment where artists can reflect on their work through mentorship, discussions, and peer exchange. For me, the program provided the time and space to expand my project Roots and Dreams, experiment with materials, and think more critically about my process. I would encourage future applicants to approach the grant not only as financial support but as a chance to deepen their ideas, research, and artistic direction."
